Hilversum, Netherlands/ Silverstone, UK (November 27, 2023) Make-A-Wish International, a charity supported by F1®, are celebrating their collaboration with Formula 1® with a special memorabilia auction to raise funds for wish-granting. Items include a Pirelli Pole Position Award wind tunnel tyre with the F1 Global Tyre Partner logo hand-engraved together with the F1 logo and the iconic Make-A-Wish logo, a Ferrari Trento Podium Jeroboam bottle with drivers signature, an exclusive 2024 Pirelli Hot Laps experience, a stay at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, two original oil-on-canvas F1® themed artworks by famous artist Armin Flossdorf and the 2023 F1® drivers group photo with all original signatures. The launch of the online auction was celebrated at this season’s grand finale, the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2023 on Sunday November 26.
This auction supports Make-A-Wish’s mission to create live-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. These once-in-a-lifetime experiences include meeting F1® drivers, attending a Grand Prix™ or sitting in a race car. With the help of the racing community, F1 and, Make-A-Wish has been able to grant 52 incredible F1 wish experiences in 2023.
