17th June 2024 — The Mediterranean Garden at the Monaco Bay Hotel was the scene of a star-studded charity event on Sunday evening as international celebrities and notable Monégasques came together in support Make-A-Wish International. The charity event was presented in partnership with the prestigious Monte-Carlo Television Festival, with all funds raised going towards granting wishes to children with critical illnesses around the world. As donations continue to pour in, the charity has announced that the event has exceeded its fundraising target.
Night of 100 Stars was co-hosted by Maxime Dereymez, celebrated winner of Dancing with the Stars France, and Victoria Silvstedt, renowned model and TV personality. The evening included a performance by Nade, the charismatic contestant from The Voice France 2023. Notable guests included Princesses Carolina and Chiara Bourbon des deux Siciles, the cast of Little House on the Prairie, Ben Vereen and Cathy Guetta.
"Night of 100 Stars is not just an event, it is a beacon of hope to the children and families we serve. Critical illness steals childhood from a child, but a wish-come-true has the power to return it. All those in attendance will be helping grant life-changing wishes to children facing critical illness," said Luciano Manzo, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish International. "This evening is about creating moments of joy and inspiration, while generating crucial support for our 40 Affiliates which granted over 19,500 wishes last year."
